The practice of creating anarchist problems and offering statist solutions is Munchausen Statism by Proxy.

Quotes from With Christ in the Voting Booth

Picture
But our freedoms and Christian legacy are a result of the blessing of God, not the cause of it. This may seem to be trivial, but it is really the difference between honoring the Creator and deifying the creature, between salvation by grace and damnation by good works, between godly worship and godless idolatry.

How is that politics has claimed such a huge position in our lives that we accept the denigration or minimization of the importance of winning the lost and living a holy life, pleasing unto God? I fear that it is because we are tied to this world. We’ve become so earthly minded, we are no heavenly good.

The shared doctrine of Anarchists and Tyrants is this: they reject Jesus as Savior and Lord of the World. The anarchist wants the total rule of self, with no accountability to any other person. The tyrant desires to have total rule over all others, without having any rules to guide him from above. Each attempts to dethrone Jesus. Neither one accepts God’s sovereignty; therefore, each abandons the Law of God.

Kind Words for
With Christ
in the Voting Booth

"Thanks so much for sending me the attached book With Christ in the Voting Booth over a month ago.  It really is well done. I wanted to respond sooner but I wanted to read all the way through it before I did.

I am looking to promote this book for the coming Fall as well as leading a Wednesday night study myself. We are a church of around 600 Sunday morning attendance and our church generally buys 50-100 of these books that we promote.  I would like to encourage you to complete the Bible Study guide if you are able to help churches like ours discuss the issues of each chapter.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this book!"

THIS is turning out to be one of the most well thought out books I have had the pleasure of opening...I am 'stoked' to continue through to the references.

Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." David has helped to sharpen me, challenge me, make me reconsider arguments and even at times frustrated me.... You won't put Christ in the Voting Booth down without being challenged and sharpened.

I found this to be a good reminder not to fall into the trap of thinking we must devote all of our time, energy, money, and strategy into putting a facade of morality on our nation - or the "appearance of righteousness" over our governmental and political institutions--thus confusing our real role as Christians in a spiritually lost world. I would encourage every voter, regardless of your faith or political preference to read this thoughtful and well researched book.

With Christ in the Voting Booth sheds the light of God’s Word upon the subject of politics, which he weaves in with his own depth of insight and wisdom gleaned from years of experience, aiming especially at the foundational level. As his pastor, I am very pleased to recommend his work as an engaging read for those desiring to be salt and light.... With Christ in the Voting Booth will be a great benefit to Christ’s people.
